Joshua Camerote is a documentary filmmaker born and currently living in Philadelphia, PA. Since completing his first documentary feature,Swallow Your Pride he has gone on to produce short documentaries for national and local broadcast TV, covering topics including Human Guinea Pigs, Roller Derbys, Slot Car Races and the East Coast Anarchist Movement. In 2009 he received a Philadelphia Stories Documentary Grant. He has worked as a editor on the feature documentaries "Acres of Skin" and "After School"

Besides his feature film work he has teamed up with several online broadband networks to produce several original series and profiles on artist, bands and places in Philadelphia.Yahoo ! networks, AOL, Current Tv and VIMBY.

Typically working as a field producer, shooter and editor all on the same project with a very short turnaround. Josh will be hands on producing the "thrice weekly" released reality webshow documenting the "Making of Oak Swamp". This will be carefully designed not to give away plot points or film aesthetics, but rather to play on the fun and challenging saga of a small team building something big.
